LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Rock ‘N’ Roll Las Vegas Running Series will require several road closures this weekend.
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Half Marathon and 10k will take place on Sunday, February 25. There will also be a 5k in Downtown Las Vegas on Saturday, February 24.
Most road closures and detours on Sunday will be in effect between the hours of 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. The half marathon and 10k both begin at 4:30 p.m.
Streets will reopen on a rolling basis as soon as the last participant has passed and all course support materials have been removed. Residents and businesses located near the race course are urged to plan ahead and be aware of road closure schedules and alternate access routes.
