LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – FOX5 has learned the identities of the two victims and the suspect in a shooting at a Summerlin law firm.

On Monday morning, Las Vegas police and firefighters responded to a building in the 10800 block of West Charleston Boulevard, near downtown Summerlin around 10:04 a.m. Police confirmed that two victims and a suspect died during the shooting.

The shooting broke out during a child custody deposition at Prince Law Group, located on Charleston Boulevard and Pavilion Center Drive, lawyer Robert Eglet told FOX5.

Joe Houston, a Las Vegas attorney, has been identified as the gunman, and allegedly shot two people before turning the gun on himself. Dennis Prince and Ashley Prince were identified as the victims, Eglet told FOX5. A family member of Dennis Prince also confirmed his death and the details of what led up to the shooting. The Clark County Coroner’s Office has yet to identify the deceased.

Joe Houston was representing his son, Dylan Houston, during the proceedings with his former daughter-in-law, Ashley Prince, who was represented by her new husband, Dennis Prince. Dennis and Ashley have an infant child together.

Monday’s proceedings involved a deposition in the former couple’s ongoing custody battle.
