LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department are on the scene of a collision, which began as a woman being attacked inside a car, according to police.
On April 30, just before 2 p.m., a caller reported a woman being beaten inside a car near the 12700 block of Blue Diamond Road, according to LVMPD.
Police say officers located the car and attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the driver fled the scene.
The car was then involved in a crash near the 215 and Sahara Avenue. According to LVMPD, the suspect fled the scene and has not been located at this time.
Police say the woman was taken to the hospital. The condition of her injuries is unknown at this time.
Drivers are asked to avoid this area, as this investigation is ongoing.
