LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A 17-year-old has been arrested after a woman was found dead on a sidewalk last month in east Las Vegas.
According to police, detectives were able to identify a 17-year-old male juvenile as the suspect in this case. He was taken into custody on Tuesday, May 5 and booked into the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center for open murder.
Officers say they found an unresponsive woman on a sidewalk the morning of April 21 with apparent injuries. Investigators later determined she had been battered sometime overnight.

A few days later, she was identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as 61-year-old Marceline Biasini. Her cause of death was listed as blunt head trauma and was ruled a homicide.
