LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Nevada State Police announced early Thursday morning that US-95 is closed between Tonopah in Nye County and Lida Junction in Esmeralda County due to police activity.
The closure is impacting both northbound and southbound lanes on the highway at SR-266, as well as northbound lanes at Beatty.
According to a post from the Nye County Sheriff’s Office, the Esmeralda County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide south of Goldfield, which is connected to the highway closure.
