LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Vegas Golden Knights are Stanley Cup Final bound.

The Knights took down the Colorado Avalanche 2-1 Tuesday night. Captain Mark Stone got an assist from Brayden McNabb and Shea Theodore in the first period.

The second period started with Vegas on a 56-second power play. It ended with VGK taking the lead in shots on goal, 20-15.

The Golden Knights and Avalanche both get a goal in period three from Cole Smith and Gabriel Lasdenskog. The game ended 2-1.

To celebrate, DICK’S Sporting Goods at Galleria Mall has reopened its doors and will reopen on Wednesday early at 7 a.m. to sell VGK gear.
