LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is kicking off Memorial Day weekend with a backyard barbecue bash at its pool on Thursday, May 21.
The resort is turning the pool area into a summer cookout, featuring grilled barbecue favorites and live music from the 1980s cover band “The Spazmatics.”

The backyard barbecue menu includes veggie skewers with grilled corn, white cheddar aioli, cotija cheese and cilantro. Meaty options include a chicken and andouille sausage skewer with peppers, onions and creole barbecue sauce, and a steak skewer with green onion, summer squash and Japanese barbecue sauce. Each skewer is priced at $12.
Entry to the backyard barbecue is free for resort guests and $20 for non-guests. The pool is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. More details are available online at the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas Website.
