Clark County encourages anyone who sees any illegal fireworks to report them here.
Many pets go missing on the Fourth of July because fireworks can cause them to panic and run—making it an especially busy time for local shelters. If you find a lost pet, check for identification or a microchip and walk the neighborhood first; bringing the animal to the shelter should be a last resort since many pets taken in are never reclaimed, and keeping them near where they’re found improves reunion chances.
To help reunite pets with their families, The Animal Foundation is waiving reclaim fees through July 10.
