“The State Bar of Nevada is proud that this endowment will support Boyd Law students, reinforcing our collective commitment to expanding opportunity and strengthening pathways into the legal profession,” said Kari Stephens, president of the State Bar of Nevada. “What makes an endowment especially meaningful is its sustained commitment to the future. This is a significant milestone in our partnership with the law school.”

The Young Lawyers Section includes attorneys in practice for 10 years or less. The section focuses on mentorship, charity, and networking.

Boyd Law alumni and former YLS Chair Austin Barnum and current YLS Chair Jackson Wong led the initiative. Barnum graduated in 2019 and works at Claggett & Sykes. Wong graduated in 2020 and works at Holland & Hart.
