LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Eight years ago today, the Las Vegas Valley came together like never before. Members of the community restructured what it meant to be ‘resilient’.
Clark County has organized a 1 October Sunrise remembrance ceremony located at the Government Center Amphitheater, which is expected to begin at 7:30 a.m.
The event will honor survivors, victims, and the lives impacted by the tragic events of 1 October.
The night of 1 October was one of the darkest in the city’s history, but in the days that followed, Las Vegas showed the world just how strong it truly is.
