LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office says a Las Vegas man died of a gunshot wound Sunday night.

Deputies say they were called to the 2500 block of Naco Road in Golden Valley, Arizona around 8 p.m. in response to a man with a gunshot wound. The reporting party led officers to the victim who was unresponsive.

Despite life-saving measures by officers, the man died. He was identified as Richard William Ward, 40, from Las Vegas, deputies say.

Police are investigating this as a homicide and are currently seeking anyone who may have information regarding this incident.
