LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A popular Las Vegas radio personality is using his platform to seek justice for Reba.
Reba, the bulldog, died after being discarded in a plastic tote.

Chet Buchanan is a regular fixture at FOX5 Toy Drives. Buchanan has used the community spirit to rally support for an animal abandoned in the extreme heat, which eventually led to her death.
Surveillance video found from that night showed someone disposed of Reba near a dumpster behind the Vons at Twain and Maryland Parkway.
The person responsible sealed her into a plastic tote at a time when temperatures topped 110 degrees.
Medical treatment was provided by veterinarians at the Vegas Pet Rescue Project in an attempt to save Reba. The bulldog died from her conditions related to heat exhaustion.
It has been a month since news of this case was released, and no arrests have been made so far.
Buchanan expressed his frustration with the lack of progress on the case. He told FOX5 that he is one of many animal lovers in the Las Vegas Valley and would like to raise awareness and generate leads.
The Las Vegas radio personality has set up stands in convenience store parking lots around the Valley from Aug. 27 – 30 to hand out “Justice for Reba” t-shirts and flyers.
“We’re just trying to keep it top of mind, trying to get out and meet a few people and say hello, and see if we can’t rap this case up, and again, I will mention there’s $50-thousand for somebody, somebody knows something, somebody’s holding back right now.” said Buchanan.
The person with the tip leading to the arrest of Reba’s abuser will be awarded $50,000.
According to reports, Metro’s Animal Cruelty is assisting with the case.
Flyers and shirts can be collected at the Terrible’s located on Stephanie and Paseo Verde in Green Valley on Wednesday, Aug. 28.
