LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Clark County continues to fight a federal injunction that limits fines and citations for short-term rentals, taking their case to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Clark County faces limits on short-term rental enforcement due to an injunction issued in federal court in December: a judge granted an emergency injunction to pause fines and citations after homeowners and Airbnb argued in a suit that regulations they deemed draconian were unconstitutional.
Monday morning, attorneys for both sides argued their case in a Pasadena courtroom. Both sides await the judges’ decision.
