LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metro Police have arrested a volunteer Palo Verde High School coach for inappropriate contact with a minor.
According to LVMPD, Michael Atwell was arrested for misconduct with a minor under 14 years old.
Lisa Schumacher, the school’s principal, notified parents and addressed the incident.
Schumacher said that, at this time, the charges do not appear to be related to the coach’s role at the school. She explained that the coach was terminated and is no longer allowed on campus.
