HENDERSON, Nev. (FOX5) – A driver died about a week after a three-vehicle crash in Henderson, police say.

The Henderson Police Department says a crash happened Friday, Jan. 24 at 3:43 p.m. at Bermuda Road and Volunteer Boulevard.

A Buick, Chevrolet and Honda were involved. Police say the driver of the Buick drove east on Volunteer approaching Bermuda in a left turn lane. A Chevrolet drove west on Volunteer approaching Bermuda in the second travel lane.

Police say the driver of the Buick failed to yield and continued onto the intersection to turn left. The Buick was struck on the passenger side y the Chevrolet. Both vehicles turned and the Chevrolet hit the front bumper of a Honda Civic, which was stopped.

The driver of the Buick and Chevrolet were hospitalized. Police say the driver of the Honda was not injured.

Tuesday, police learned the Chevrolet’s driver died. Speed and impairment are not considered factors in the crash.

“The name of the decedent will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office after next of kin notifications,” Henderson police say. “The collision is being investigated as the first accident-related fatality for 2025.”
