LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The yellow brick road leads to the Sphere in Las Vegas later this summer.
The ‘Wizard of Oz’ starring Judy Garland is going from the big screen to the biggest screen in the world in partnership with Warner Brothers.
We can expect to see the classic movie at the Sphere starting August 28.
Another film follows premier athletes through the world of extreme sports. This one is called ‘From the Edge’ featuring local rock climber Alex Honnold, who scaled El Capitan at Yosemite National Park in the Academy Award-winning documentary “Free Solo”. It also follows free divers, skiers, base jumpers and surfers.
‘From the Edge’ is set to come out next year.
Ticket sales for both experiences have not yet been announced.
