LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The cyberattack on Nevada state systems continues to impact services on Labor Day.

The Nevada DMV posted on social media greetings for Labor Day, saying all offices are closed. The state agency says it’s continuing to look at the statewide outage each day.

WEEK 1: Nevada state services have been unavailable for a week. What’s next?

Nevada Highway Patrol provided an update to FOX5, saying the Governor’s Technology Office is continuing to resolve the issue.

“Updates will be shared as they become available,” NHP said.

State Police said phone lines are still working and troopers will continue to provide public safety services.

NHP directed residents to Nevada State’s website temporarily created for the network outage. Governor Lombardo said Nevada’s 211 helpline has expanded also to help residents through the cyberattack.

Nevada State Parks and museums also told FOX5 its network services “remain limited.” Guests could expect to pay cash only as locations cannot process credit cards.

Parks and museums’ phone lines are also down, but officials say voicemails and emails will be addressed when services come back online.

FOX5 first learned about the network outage Sunday when Las Vegas Metro Police’ records and fingerprint department announced a “network issue” within the state. Tuesday, the governor’s office confirmed it was a cyberattack.

It was confirmed that malicious actors stole data, but officials are still working to confirm what exactly was taken.
