LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A 42-year-old is charged for open murder after a man was found inside a burning vehicle, police say.
The North Las Vegas Police Department said Marcella Patterson was charged with open murder, conspiracy to commit murder and third-degree arson. Patterson has been booked into the Clark County Detention Center.
Police said the fire department responded to the 3200 block of Mary Dee Avenue, near Cheyenne Avenue and I-15, for a vehicle fire. When crews arrived, they saw a white Lexus in flames. After it was extinguished, police found a man dead inside. He was later identified as David Weaver, 32.
