LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — As Taylor Swift’s new album Life of a Showgirl is set for release in a week, a Las Vegas casino is planning a listening party and costume contest for fans eager to celebrate their first time hearing Swift’s new songs.
In a news release from the Westgate Las Vegas, the “immersive Swiftie celebration” was announced. Free and open to all ages, the event will take place at the Cabaret at Westgate and include a first full listen of the album, expected to run 45 minutes with 12 tracks. Additionally, fans can expect themed cocktails, showgirl decor, a costume contest and a second album playback for further examination.
Dawn Rawle, senior vice president of marketing and entertainment at Westgate, said listening parties aren’t just about music, but about building community and embracing celebration.
“We’re thrilled to create a fun, welcoming space where fans can connect, decode lyrics and immerse themselves in this exciting new era,” Rawle said.
The listening party will take place Oct. 2. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. Seating will be limited, and fans are encouraged to arrive early to secure a spot. RSVP information is available on Eventbrite.
