LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – An arrest report obtained by FOX5 shows that Raiders defensive end Janarius Robinson had “bloodshot and watery” eyes as well as a “strong odor of alcohol” at the time of his DUI arrest last week.
Around 7:05 p.m. on Feb. 6, an officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a call near the ARIA Resort & Casino on the Strip. The call stated that a woman has been struck by a vehicle and became pinned between two cars, though the report notes that she was taken to the hospital before officers arrived.
Officers made contact with Robinson at the scene and identified him as the registered owner of a vehicle of interest in the incident.
“While speaking with Robinson, I could smell a strong odor of alcohol emitting from his person,” an officer detailed in the report. “Furthermore, his eyes were bloodshot and watery.”
Robinson admitted to the officer that he had been drinking, and the officer noted that Robinson’s speech was “mumbled” and his body was “swaying side to side as we spoke.”
Robinson was taken into custody following a blood draw and is currently facing a misdemeanor DUI charge.
According to Las Vegas Justice Court records, he has been released on his own recognizance, due to this being his first DUI offense.
He is due back in court for a status check on June 4, 2024.
