LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — WWE superstars visited Nellis Air Force Base during WrestleMania week in Las Vegas.

The wrestlers attended a special event at the base, getting a mission brief, touring units and meeting airmen and their families.

One service member was named this year’s WrestleMania “Military Spotlight” honoree and given tickets to the event.

“I feel like I’m blessed that I get to be going to a WrestleMania where John Cena is going to be hosting. John Cena is and will always be my hero, my favorite,” said Senior Airman Marquis Soto.

The superstars also helped host a “Purple Up Day” school assembly at Coral Academy, recognizing military children.
