LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Venetian Resort Las Vegas will host two limited runs of hit Broadway musicals this summer.
The resort announced Tuesday that “Mrs. Doubtfire” and “The Book of Mormon” will perform at The Venetian Theatre in July and November. Tickets are on sale now.
“Bringing Broadway to the Las Vegas Strip is incredibly exciting for us, and these productions represent the caliber of entertainment our guests expect from The Venetian Resort,” said Patrick Nichols, president and chief executive officer of The Venetian Resort.
“Mrs. Doubtfire” will perform July 22-26 and July 30-Aug. 2. The Tony Award-nominated musical is based on the film and follows an out-of-work actor who transforms into a nanny to stay close to his children.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays, with 2 p.m. matinees on Saturdays and Sundays.
“The Book of Mormon” will run Nov. 4-15. The nine-time Tony Award-winning musical from the creators of South Park follows two young missionaries sent on an unexpected journey.
Performances include evening shows at 7:30 p.m. and select matinees at 2 p.m.
