LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Canadian visitors to Las Vegas declined 17.4% in 2025, marking the steepest drop among North American markets, according to preliminary data released by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
The LVCVA reported 1,196,300 Canadian visitors in 2025, down from 1,448,700 in 2024. The decline represents a 19.2% drop from pre-pandemic 2019 levels, when 1,480,000 Canadians visited the city.
Mexican visitors showed a 1% increase to 1,187,400 in 2025, up from 1,175,600 in 2024. Mexican visitation is now 6% above 2019 levels.
Total international visitation to Las Vegas fell 4.8% to 4,726,500 visitors in 2025, down from 4,966,600 in 2024. The figure remains 16.4% below 2019 levels.

North American visitors, including Canada and Mexico, totaled 2,383,700 in 2025, down 9.2% from 2024. The region accounted for 50.4% of all international visitors.
Overseas visitors remained flat at 2,342,800 in 2025, unchanged from 2024 but 23.4% below 2019 levels.
