LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas police shared an update on a hit-and-run investigation that left a man critically injured Saturday morning.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said Friday that the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run was located, but the driver remains outstanding.

According to police, the crash occurred around 3 a.m. on May 2 at Charleston Boulevard and Mojave Road, where an SUV driver struck a man crossing the street with his dog inside a marked crosswalk.
The driver fled the scene immediately after, police say, and the pedestrian was transported to UMC with life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
