The property owner told a FOX5 crew that he granted the pilot permission to land on the parcel because the pilot was attending a convention in the area.
The owner also told FOX5 that the Federal Aviation Administration gave the pilot permission to land there.
FOX5 has reached out to the FAA to confirm that approval was granted. Further updates will be provided as details become available.
