LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Baseball fans are invited to Cashman Field this Saturday—home of the Las Vegas Stars and 51s from 1983 to 2018—for a celebration of Las Vegas baseball, past and present.
Organizers say the first fans to arrive will receive a limited-edition Las Vegas 51s throwback jersey as a free giveaway, while supplies last.

They call it a piece of Vegas baseball heritage, paying homage to the Las Vegas 51s, the Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets and Toronto Blue Jays that played in the Pacific Coast League from 2001 to 2018. The team’s name, they note, was also a nod to Area 51.
Also returning to the ballpark: $2 beers.
Fans can also purchase an Aviators Night bundle, promoted as a “home run” deal. It includes:
- One Las Vegas Lights ticket for this Saturday’s Aviators Night match
- One Las Vegas Aviators ticket for their world soccer celebration game against the Tacoma Rainiers on July 11
- A guaranteed 51s throwback jersey in the buyer’s preferred size
