LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — U.S. Rep. Susie Lee is emphasizing her bipartisan approach and decades of public service experience as she seeks reelection in Nevada’s Congressional District 3.
In an interview with FOX5, Lee outlined why she believes she is the best candidate to continue representing the district.
“I’m the only person in this race who has a demonstrated background of over 30 years of public service experience in this community, from running homeless centers to after-school programs to dropout prevention programs,” Lee said.
Bipartisan approach
Lee said she has demonstrated a willingness to work across party lines to address issues facing Southern Nevada residents.
“I’m proud to have been ranked the most bipartisan member of Congress because I’m willing to roll up my sleeves and work across the aisle to address issues like housing affordability, making sure we have enough water, protecting our public lands, reducing the cost of health care,” Lee said.
Record of results
Lee cited her record of delivering federal investment and constituent services.
“I’ve delivered over $5 billion of federal investment. I’ve closed over 10,000 cases of constituents who have called my office,” Lee said. “I’ve been ranked one of the top constituent members in Congress.”
Lee said she has shown voters across party lines that she is willing to work for results.
“Whether you’re a Democrat, Republican or Independent, I’m willing to work for you to get results,” Lee said. “And I think that’s what people want to see in Washington.”
