LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are investigating a deadly shooting in the area of the 2600 block of South Bruce Street and Sahara Avenue.
Police said officers responded to a shooting call at about 4:09 p.m. and found a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
LVMPD Homicide detectives responded to take over the investigation. Police said there are no outstanding suspects at this time.
Authorities urged people to avoid the area, saying the scene will be shut down for a period of time as detectives work through the investigation.
