LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Northbound traffic on Interstate 11 is closed at Las Vegas Boulevard due to an officer-involved shooting on Wednesday.
It was reported around 1:51 p.m. near Downtown Las Vegas.
Officials with the Nevada State Police say troopers involved did not sustain serious injuries.

The northbound on-ramp from Casino Center Boulevard to I-11 is also closed.
Drivers heading north are being directed to exit at Las Vegas Boulevard (Exit 75) or earlier and use alternate routes.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area while the investigation continues.
According to sources, the suspect’s vehicle is located at 4980 W Sahara Ave near Decatur Boulevard. FOX5 crews are on scene at the Dignity Health Hospital, where you can see police presence and another vehicle crashed into a structure at the location.
