LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Lone Mountain Regional Park will be closed for part of Saturday as crews prepare for a nighttime community event.
The park will close at 8 a.m. Saturday, June 13, ahead of Commissioner April Becker’s Dark Skies at Lone Mountain.
Organizers will spend the day setting up the stage, lighting and seating, along with refreshments and local vendors, to create a candlelit concert experience under the stars.

The park is scheduled to reopen for event guests at 6 p.m.
The event will feature a live string ensemble performing modern favorites by candlelight. Complimentary blankets and light refreshments will be available while supplies last.
Vendors on site will include permanent jewelry, handcrafted candles and more.
Lone Mountain Regional Park is located at 9825 W. Lone Mountain Road, near N. Grand Canyon Drive. The event is free and open to the community.
