LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A local animal shelter’s annual fundraiser is back, bringing another round of laughs while raising critical support for pets in need.
The Animal Foundation is bringing back its popular Poorly Drawn Pets fundraiser for a third year, offering custom pet portraits in exchange for a $25 donation.

Shelter officials say volunteer “artists” create the drawings, and the results can range from surprisingly skilled to humorously offbeat.
They add that every portrait is unique, with all donations supporting shelter pets at The Animal Foundation.
The fundraiser returns after selling out last year and arrives just after the Fourth of July, which is one of the shelter’s busiest times.
Submissions will be open through Sunday, July 5.
