LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas police were investigating a reported stabbing Wednesday afternoon near Rainbow and Lake Mead Boulevards, authorities said.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) dispatch received a call about 3:25 p.m.

According to LVMPD, a person reported that someone had been stabbed near the intersection. The victim was taken to a local hospital. The victim’s injuries are unknown at this time.
One person was detained and may be involved, police said. Officers were still searching for possible suspects and witnesses as the investigation remained on scene.
Police urged the public to avoid the area while the investigation is ongoing.
