LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Aces center A’ja Wilson was named the WNBA’s Western Conference Player of the Month for June, extending her league-record total to 15 monthly awards, according to the Aces organization.

The release said it is Wilson’s second Player of the Month honor this season after also winning in May.

In June, the Aces went 9-2 while Wilson averaged a league-high 26.5 points and 10.3 rebounds, along with 2.9 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.8 blocks per game, the release said. Wilson shot 52.6% from the field and 81.6% from the free-throw line.

The press release credited Wilson with eight 20-point games in June, including five 30-point performances, and said she led the league with six 20-point double-doubles during the month.

The Las Vegas Aces release also noted Wilson earned her 30th Western Conference Player of the Week award on June 16, trailing only Tina Charles’ 33 for the most all-time.

According to the release, Wilson previously won Western Conference Player of the Month in August and September 2020; June 2021; May and July 2022; June, July and August 2023; May, June, July and September 2024; August 2025; and May 2026. The WNBA said Charles is second with 12 Eastern Conference monthly awards.

The release highlighted several standout performances, including a 34-point, 12-rebound, nine-assist game in a win over Seattle on June 8 and a 33-point, 10-rebound, five-steal performance at Phoenix on June 17.
