LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Hockey is almost back in Henderson, and the Silver Knights have announced when fans can expect to see them return to the ice.

The team released its 2026–27 schedule Thursday, opening its seventh season at home on Saturday, Oct. 3 against the Bakersfield Condors. The 72-game slate features 36 games at Lee’s Family Forum and 36 on the road, with Henderson set to face all nine Pacific Division opponents.

Officials also highlighted matchups against two Central Division teams starting in 2027. The Silver Knights will host the Iowa Wild on Saturday, Jan. 23 and Sunday, Jan. 24, then travel to Iowa for games at Casey’s Center on Friday, Jan. 29 and Saturday, Jan. 30.

Henderson will also visit the Texas Stars at the H-E-B Center on Friday, Feb. 19 and Saturday, Feb. 20, before the teams meet again in Henderson on Friday, March 19 and Saturday, March 20.

Other notable dates include six Kids Day Sundays, when fans 14 and under will receive a special giveaway and can take a post-game slapshot on the ice, plus a strong home-heavy start and finish. Fans will be able to enjoy 11 of the first 15 at home, and nine of the final 11, including the regular-season finale.

This season will also be the team’s first under head coach Joel Ward, who was named the new coach last month.
