LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in the parking lot of a southeast valley shopping center Tuesday morning.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, police responded to reports of a fight involving multiple subjects around 6:03 a.m. in the 5100 block of Boulder Highway, near Nellis Boulevard.
An arriving officer was part of the officer-involved shooting, police said.

Authorities are asking the public to avoid the area due to a large police presence.
Additional details have not been released, but police are expected to hold a press conference soon.
