LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are investigating after a teen was fatally shot in front of his residence on Saturday morning.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department received reports of the shooting around 10:45 a.m. and responded to the 2300 block of Goldhill Way, south of Vegas Drive. Officers arriving at the scene located a teen suffering from a gunshot wound and transported him to UMC hospital.
The teen would later be pronounced dead.
The LVMPD’s Homicide Section took over the investigation and determined that the teen was in front of his residence when he was approached by an unknown male before the shooting. The suspect would flee the scene before police arrived.
