LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Clark County School District is expected to discuss summer break and upcoming safety initiatives Tuesday afternoon.
CCSD and community partners are expected to be at the media conference.
CCSD leaders, district police and Las Vegas Valley law enforcement agencies are expected to discuss school safety measures and matters impacting school communities before the end of the school year and summer break.
“CCSD values the safety of students and staff,” the district says. “The District continuously partners with local law enforcement to identify community matters to minimize the impact on school campuses.’
CCSD Interim Superintendent Dr. Brenda Larsen-Mitchell, CCSD Police Department Chief Henry Blackeye, and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and other local law enforcement partners are expected to be at the event.
