LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas police say a woman was shot in the face Friday evening.
Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the shooting happened just before 6:30 p.m. in the 3900 block of Paradise Road, near Flamingo Road. Officers found the woman with a gunshot wound to the face, and she was transported to the hospital with injuries not life-threatening.

Police said the suspect was taken into custody by officers, and there are no other outstanding parties. Detectives are taking over the investigation.
