LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A driver was injured in a wrong-way, rollover crash on US 95 near Lee Canyon on Friday morning.
At 4:49 a.m., Nevada State Police received a report of the crash on northbound US 95 near mile marker 101, seven miles north of State Route 157 (Kyle Canyon Road). The driver was transported by air ambulance services from the scene with “substantial injuries.”
The Nevada Department of Transportation is on the scene, closing off the road while troopers investigate.
Police also note that regular traffic will be diverted onto Deer Creek Road, but freight traffic will have to find alternate routes since the road does not accommodate commercial vehicles.
As of 8:30 a.m., all roads near the crash site have been reopened.
