LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Vegas Chamber shined a spotlight on small businesses on Wednesday during its annual Business Expo.

More than one hundred exhibitors turned out this year to show off their goods and services while connecting with others and expanding their networks. “Chamber Chats” were also offered to attendees—short talks on strategies for success.

Chamber President and CEO Mary Beth Sewalk told FOX5 that the event is designed for maximum member benefit.

“The Chamber wanted to have an avenue to provide this kind of a resource to small businesses, mid-sized businesses as well,” Sewalk said. “But it’s just a great opportunity for us to give back to our members and to the whole business community in general.”

Also highlighted in the program was the chamber’s “Edge” program, which provides resources to help women and minority-owned businesses succeed.

The Expo runs through 5 p.m. Admission and parking are free.
