LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Nevada Attorney General Aaron D. Ford won the Democratic primary for governor, setting up a general election matchup against Republican Gov. Joe Lombardo on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026.

Ford, a Democrat, is expected to address supporters and outline his path to victory in a post-election press conference hosted by the Nevada State Democratic Party.

The event is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday in Las Vegas and will include Nevada Democratic Chair Daniele Monroe-Moreno and the party’s slate of constitutional office candidates.

Democrats are expected to focus their fall campaign message on affordability and jobs, contrasting their agenda with Lombardo and Nevada Republicans.

Lombardo won the Republican primary and will face Ford in November.

Early voting for the general election begins Saturday, Oct. 17, and runs through Friday, Oct. 30.
