LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers responded Tuesday night to a head-on collision on Alexander Road above Interstate 11 in which one of the vehicles caught fire.

At least one person involved in the crash has been transported to a local hospital on Tuesday. Medical units remained on scene treating others involved.
Road closure in effect
Drivers are being advised to avoid Alexander Road over the highway. Traffic officers are on scene investigating the crash.
