LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The A’s say their “next chapter” in Las Vegas is starting to take shape on and off the field.

On Thursday, team owners and executives unveiled Circa and Circa Sports as the first founding partners for the future Las Vegas Athletics ballpark on the Strip.

The deal includes premium “Dugout Box” seats built next to the home dugout, plus a block of special “Time of Your Life” seats high in right-center field that Circa plans to use for hotel guest packages and promotions.

Owners say the new roofed stadium is rising fast, with major truss pieces going up now, and they’re still targeting a February 2028 opening.

Circa CEO: ‘best stadium ever designed’

“The A’s ballpark will be the best stadium, arena, ever designed and ever built in any sport, and it will be here in this wonderful city of Las Vegas. These dugout seats are going to be the best seats in the sport,” said Derek Stevens, CEO of Circa.

Longtime fan surprised with first ‘Time of Your Life’ seats

A longtime Las Vegas baseball fan now has a guaranteed spot inside the A’s new ballpark on opening day 2028.

During the partnership event with Circa, officials surprised Derek Delp, a Triple-A season-ticket holder since 2003, with the first pair of “Time of Your Life” seats.

The 28 special seats will sit high in right-center field, a nod to the old “Bob Uecker” nosebleed ads, and will be given out through hotel packages for all 81 home games.

Delp said he grew up as a die-hard Cubs fan in Chicago and never imagined Las Vegas would land its own Major League ballpark.

“I was surprised to be handed two ‘Time of Your Life’ seats. I was already excited about opening day, now I’m beyond excited. I always thought Vegas would be a perfect place for baseball, and now it’s coming true,” said Derek Delp, longtime season-ticket holder.
