HENDERSON (FOX5) — The city of Henderson is now offering homeowners protection plans for their utility service lines.

The city has contracted with HomeServe’s Service Line Warranties of America to offer optional water and sewer service line repair plans. In a press release Thursday, the city explained that certain portions of utility lines on private property are the homeowner’s responsibility to maintain and repair, which can be expensive and often isn’t covered under standard homeowners’ insurance.
