The district said the arrest stems from an investigation that began at Jack Lund Schofield Middle School in February 2026.

CCSD said Vaughan has been employed by the district since December 2018 and most recently worked as a campus security monitor assigned to Jack Lund Schofield Middle School.

The district said Vaughan has been placed on unpaid leave under the terms of the negotiated agreement with his bargaining unit.
