LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty against the man accused of shooting and killing a married couple inside a Smith’s grocery store.

Alejandro Estrada, who is in custody, appeared in court for an arraignment after being indicted last week by a grand jury on 13 counts. Those charges included two counts of murder related to the deadly shooting of Amanda and Victor Frias-Rosas on May 12.

Police say Amanda was going through a custody battle with Estrada at the time of the shooting.
