The driver initially told police one to two men shot into the car while parked at the Dotty’s. After being confronted with surveillance video showing someone else in the back seat, he admitted a friend had been in the car with him.
That person was identified with a February 2 booking photo as Davidson. The driver had originally identified him as “Boosie” in the arrest report.
Detectives used surveillance video from two nearby stores that painted out a more detailed pictures of movements taken by the trio:
- 7:34 p.m. Hyundai arrives in the area with Davidson in passenger seat
- 7:35 p.m. The victim arrives in a red Dodge Durango and gets into the front passenger seat of the Hyundai
- The three then go in and out of the car for 30 minutes
- 8:05 p.m. a smoke cloud comes from the front passenger door, Davidson exits the rear driver-side door, appears to drop a handgun, picks it up and runs southbound
Crime scene analysts found seven spent 9mm cases inside the Hyundai and seven bullet impacts exiting the interior passenger door.
In the report, the Clark County Coroner documented 11 wounds on the victim including three to the left neck, two to the right neck, two to each upper shoulder and two to the right wrist.
The death was ruled as multiple gunshot wounds, and the manner was listed as homicide.
