LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A fight between men in downtown Las Vegas ended with one dead and another arrested Thursday night, LVMPD says.
Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said dispatch received a call at 6:15 p.m. about a man battered near Main Street and Bridger Avenue.
Officers and medical personnel arrived at the scene and provided life-saving measures. However, the victim, described as a Black man in his 60s, died at the hospital.
Lt. Monique Rodriguez said that, with the help of security, the suspect was located and has been arrested. The suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his 40s.
Rodriguez said homicide detectives believe both men were homeless.
