LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A firefighter was taken to a hospital for evaluation after an east valley structure fire that caused a partial roof collapse Sunday night.
Clark county Fire Department and Las Vegas Fire and Rescue responded to reports of a fire in the 900 block of North Nellis Boulevard, north of Bonanza Road, around 4:06 a.m.

The first engine arrived within five minutes and reported smoke coming from the rear of the structure. The incident commander upgraded the call and requested a second alarm.
Firefighters worked to contain the flames from outside the building due to a partial roof collapse. Firefighters were later able to reduce the flames and transition into searching the interior and fighting the flames from inside the building.
No civilian injuries were reported. One firefighter was transported to the hospital for evaluation.
A total of nine engines, three trucks, three rescues, three battalion chiefs, two EMS captains, one air resource unit, and fire investigators responded to the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
