LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas valley first responders are sharing statistics of fires and citations from the Fourth of July.

Las Vegas Fire & Rescue said their response started around 6 p.m. on July 4 and ended at 5 a.m.
“The Fourth of July has once again upheld its reputation as one of the busiest evenings for Las Vegas Fire & Rescue Members, and we thank our team for delivering critical services to the Las Vegas community. Below is the night’s recap,” officials said.
According to a social media post, Las Vegas Fire & Rescue responded to 106 outside fires and 14 building fires. Officials said there were 0 responses to burn injuries. These calls for service were within the City of Las Vegas.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue said they responded to 288 emergency incidents, including calls from partnering agencies and areas outside its jurisdiction.
Officials said there was a decrease of 50 responses compared to last year. Only 416 units were deployed this Fourth of July.
Las Vegas Fire & Rescue said its task force confiscated 747.3 pounds of illegal fireworks and issued seven citations within the city. Its Combined Communication Center processed 1,249 emergency calls and 147 non-emergency calls.
